Starting a small business or finding a company that can assist you with your ideas is often difficult. If you need a business plan, organizational tips, marketing advice, or just a plan-of-action for your vision, this ministry is designed with you in mind. Dream Catchers is a non-profit arm of Gateway that assists in making dreams a reality. This ministry exists solely to assist and uplift those who have a vision and need help. There is no cost associated with this service, however, you must invest your time as we exchange ideas, make suggestions, and offer direction.
Gateway Preschool and Child Development Center
The education and enrichment of our children are vital to their success and growth. Thus, our non-discriminatory facility (www.gatewaypreschool.weebly.com) was developed to foster a caring environment for families in our community. We have highly qualified teachers with child-care experience and the center is certified with the Department of Human Resources (DHR) in the state of Alabama. We offer a state funded Pre-K program that prepares children for Kindergarten. This single center touches the lives of 90-110 kids daily.
CARING HANDS LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT CENTER
This program is designed to take the expertise from among our elder community, match them with the greatest need in the community, our youth, and create a center where children and adults enhance the lives of one another through the simplest of mediums…reading. Also, we will foster initiatives for adults where they will learn to become responsible parents, gain job enrichment skills, receive personal and professional counseling, and learn how to become better citizens within their community.
G.A.P. REACHOUT PROGRAM
“Filling The Void”
What does a child do when there is nothing to do? If you remember your childhood days you most likely answered, “Get in Trouble.” G.A.P (God’s Anointed Place) will be an alternative recreational center for youth between the ages of 7-11, 12-15, and 16-18. We will offer an opportunity for young people to enjoy a non-threatening environment, while sharing their talents in sports, poetry, dance, education and music. Every child should have a venue to express their creativity; G.A.P is the outlet for your youth’s time and talent.
